Room 1

Error Hunter

Every sentence below has exactly one wrong word. Click it. Sometimes the word is simply wrong, and sometimes it is a word that should not be there at all. Six sentences out of eight and the first digit is yours.

Room 2

Comma Surgeon

Click the little gaps between the words to put the commas in. A non-defining clause needs two commas, one before it and one after it. If the clause tells you which person or thing you mean, press No commas needed instead. Five out of six and the second digit is yours.

Room 3

Third Form Hunt

Guess the third form of the verb on the card. Six tries. After each guess the tiles tell you: green means right letter in the right place, yellow means right letter in the wrong place, grey means the letter is not in the word. Every passive and every causative ends in one of these forms.

Room 4

Grammar Grid

Three in a row against the machine. Click an empty square and answer the question: if you are right the square is yours, if you are wrong the machine takes it. Beat the machine and the fourth digit is yours. A draw is not enough.

Pick a square to start.
